T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 OTA Update build N920TUVU2COJ5, a security updates with various bug fixes and improvements

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920T) has gotten a new OTA update that bump up its build to N920TUVU2COJ5. This update is still base in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to which is said to bring the security updates, along with various bug fixes and improvements. The latter is now the 4th Android 5.1.1 had been sent on T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 alone, but we've already assumed that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is not that far enough to roll out. While speaking of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, it is now almost complete upon into its depth testing process, according to T-Mobile.

But for a while, you may need to update your Galaxy Note 5 to build N920TUVU2COJ5 first, while the much awaited Android M are about to come very soon.

The roll out starts on November 02, but the delivery of the update  usually run in stages and it may take into several days before it completely arrived on all T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 owners.

How to Update the Galaxy Note 5 via Over-The-Air (OTA)


The Over The Air (OTA) update requires you to connect your Galaxy Note 5 to a Wi-Fi network to avoid high data charges. Ensure that your device battery is recharged before performing the software  update.
  • From the device Home screen, simply touch Apps.
  • Touch the Settings (gear icon).
  • Touch the System tab.
  • Touch About device.
  • Touch Software update.
  • Touch Check for updates. It will then prompts you to the new software update.
  • Lastly, touch the Install button, then OK.
