T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 Update to N920TUVU2COI5, Brings the Fully Functional Samsung Pay Support

T-Mobile is sending out an update on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920T) that will bump the Android 5.1.1 build to N920TUVU2COI5. The N920TUVU2COI5 update brings nothing more any major changes but just a minor OTA update that brings some adjustments to the Samsung Pay.  T-Mobile is ensuring that the said mobile payment will work perfectly before its official launch on September 28, 2015 in the United States.

In addition, once the update has made, owners of the Galaxy Note 5 will then be able to see the fully enabled Samsung Pay in the application drawer. But it isn't activated yet, until the Samsung Pay's arrival. Users will then be able to download and install the Samsung Pay Apps itself upon launch and then be able to register their owned bank cards that were officially tied up with the Samsung Pay.

The N920TUVU2COI5 update is rolling out via Over-The-Air (OTA) and can also be downloaded using the Samsung Smart Switch for PC and MAC computers. So better check the update right now or else you will left behind with new Samsung Pay craze.

How to Update the Galaxy Note 5 via Over-The-Air (OTA)


The Over The Air (OTA) update requires you to connect your Galaxy Note 5 to a Wi-Fi network to avoid high data charges. Ensure that your device battery is recharged before performing the software  update.
  • From the device Home screen, simply touch Apps.
  • Touch the Settings (gear icon).
  • Touch the System tab.
  • Touch About device.
  • Touch Software update.
  • Touch Check for updates. It will then prompts you tothe new software udate.
  • Lastly, touch the Install button, then OK.
