AT&T Galaxy Note5 Update version N920AUCS4CQA1, January 2017 Security Patch

AT&T Galaxy Note5 receives an OTA update to build version N920AUCS4CQA1. The update will apply the new Android security patches and has moved its level from December 1, 2016 to January 1, 2017. Though it isn't the much awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update yet and it's still stayed in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but it is just a minor OTA update weighing at just 57.1MB in size. So it couldn't bother anyone to take the update at the very least.

AT&T Galaxy Note 5 Updates to N920AUCS4CPL1, No Nougat Yet, It's December Security Patches

AT&T has just released an OTA update on Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920A), bumping the Android OS version to N920AUCS4CPL1 previous build N920AUCS4CPK1.
The update is still in recent Android Marshmallow OS and not the much awaited Android Nougat updates. It is the same update the device has been receiving from the past couple of months to which brings out the monthly Android security patches. So this time around this labeled update version N920AUCS4CPL1 will move the Android security patch level to December 1, 2016.

AT&T Galaxy Note 5 November Android security updates N920AUCS4CPK1

AT&T Galaxy Note 5 has gotten another monthly security update that bumps its current Android OS to build version to N920AUCS4CPK1. The update is still in Android Marshmallow base, and not the much awaited Nougat update yet. It'll just brings the November package of Android device security patches and nothing more. Who knows that this might be the preparation for the upcoming Nougat update to which were already seen around the corner, and are now still in intensive testing processes.

We've seen an update hitting on Australia's Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920I). This update is rolling out via Over-The-Air and or through Samsung Kies/ Samsung Smart Switch for PC. This is the 4th Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update landed on Australian Galaxy Note 5 users alone. The previous version was released way back in August and posses the Android security patch level of 1 August 2016, while this update bumped up to 1 October 2016. Sprint Galaxy Note5 October Android Security Patch Update N920PVPS3BPJ2

Sprint Galaxy Note5 (SM-N920P) hast yet receive the monthly Android security maintenance update.  The update will bump up the device current Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS version to N920PVPS3BPJ2 from its previous version N920PVPU2BPH9. Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Update N920VVRS3BPI1, Bringing September Security Patch


Verizon Galaxy Note 5 has receive an OTA update that bumped up its Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS to build version N920VVRS3BPI1. The said update brings the September security patches, bug fixes, and other system enhancements.

AT&T Galaxy Note 5 Receive Wi-Fi Calling, Advance Messaging, and September Security Patch Update N920AUCU3CPHA

AT&T has started rolling out the September Security patch update dubbed as build version N920AUCU3CPHA. This update is part of the monthly Android device security maintenance, to which to be release once in every month.  This update will also enables the Wi-Fi Calling, Advance Messaging support for the device. There might also some several bug-fixes and system improvements that weren't mentioned in the released notes hence the update's file size is a hefty 431MB compared to the previous released build version N920AUCS3BPH4 last month to which only weighs at 33.5 MB.

So those who got AT&T's Galaxy Note 5 in hand, you folks might the update in your device right now.

Sprint Galaxy Note 5 OTA August and September Security Update N920PVPU2BPH9

Sprint Galaxy Note 5 receives the Android security patch update that covers both August and September month fixe. The security patch update is supposed to be rolled out once in every month but the August security patch haven't been released last month while the previous released is way back in July. Aside from the security patch, it also adds up some sort of improvements to the WiFi Calling Client, according to Sprint. The said update will bump the Android Marshmallow firmware  build version to N920PVPU2BPH9.

Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Update N920VVRU2BPG5 Adds Advanced Calling and new Galaxy features

If you're Galaxy Note 5 is from Verizon then you might have also received an update today. The update is said to which will now enables the Advanced Calling support, and also brings the new Galaxy features that will also support the Barcode Beaming, and a new ways  for images and file sharing. However, the update removed the Amazon Music app, but the said app can be installed manually by the user itself thru Google Play store.

AT&T Galaxy Note5 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update N920AUCU2BPE6

AT&T's Galaxy Note 5 has  finally receives the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update. Today, AT&T  has started pushing out the OTA update dubbed as build version N920AUCU2BPE6, to which carries the said Android Marshmallow upgrade.  Noting that AT&T had been releasing the beta Marshmallow a while back thru its beta program invitations participants.  But those who did not participate the program that are still waiting for tentative and final Android 6.0 Marshmallow build, this is it.

Along with the Marshmallow goodies, it also brings  the Video Calling support. The rest are general bug fixes, a security update, system improvements,  enhanced permission controls, a slightly revamped user interface and more.

T-Mobile Galaxy Note5 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update build N920TUVU2DPD1

T-Mobile has just started the released of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update on Samsung Galaxy Note5 (SM-N920T) devices. The said update comes with software build version N920TUVU2DPD1 and it is now live via Over-The-Air (OTA) update as we speak. The Android M brings a much more improved User Interface (UI), and several featured enhancements. Aside from the Marshmallow goodies the update is also equipped with the newest security patches.

In addition, though the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow brought the same features across to all other US variants of Galaxy Note 5, but there is a little differences happened on T-Mobile's update. On  T-Mobile' update they have deleted the Facebook messenger, Instagram,  Whatsup functions for some reason. Furthermore, there might be some other downsides found during its testing period that may have caused the delayed for a quite bit longer than expected.

Sprint Galaxy Note5 Gets Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OTA Update, Release build N920PVPU2BPC3

Sprint has also released the official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update on Galaxy Note5 (SM-N920P to which came out as release build N920PVPU2BPC3.   It is now live via Over-The-Air as we speak and weighs the download file size  at 1362.41MB. Along with the  Marshmallow OS upgrade is the most recent Google and Android security patch updated to which also bumps up its level  to March 1, 2016. The roll out will be in phases and starts on March 24, 2016 until April 8, 2016, according to Sprint.
